We will be adding Small Barrels and Spine Corrector work to our equipment classes.
If you’re wondering why – The small barrel helps to maintain and adjust the curvature of the spine and also helps to reduce the perception of tightness in the breast muscle and tissue. Both will contribute to the best nights of sleep. This exercise, which focuses on the main muscle group, is important as we age, because our spines naturally lose the natural curve it has ever had.
Even a few minutes on the barrels/spine corrector opens the chest, relieves tight necks and shoulders and stretches the upper back to help you look and feel taller! Some studios have entire classes on this equipment, and I’m anxious to hear your feedback about how adding the barrels into class make you feel!
