Why I became certified
As pilates studio owners or owners-to-be it’s important to price yourself right. Price yourself for profitability so you can pay yourself, pay your team and have profit to do an owner draw or reinvest in the business.
When I went through my teacher training I learned to teach pilates but not how to run a studio.
I did what you did.
I Googled “Pilates studios near me” to match my pricing to the studios in the area.
Not knowing what was happening “under the mat”, so to speak:
- Were they paying themselves?
- Were they in debt?
- Did they pay the team well?
I want to help YOU avoid the mistakes I made and build a profitable Pilates business from the ground up. A business where you can pay yourself your dream salary and have the confidence of consistent and reliable income.
What You Will Accomplish in 4 Weeks
Perform a profit analysis to see where you are at. We will take a look at the following:
- Operating expenses
- Payroll expenses
- Profit
Calculate the minimum monthly expenses needed for the following profit margins:
- No profit
- 10%
- 20%
- 30%
Calculate capacity for the amount of hours you and your team want to offer services.
Create a suite of offers based on the average monthly client value needed.
Design a roll-out strategy for your new pricing.
My business has never brought in much of a profit. I love what I do and I was happy to just cover costs but my business expenses and “life” expenses have increased so I needed to take my business to the next level. Amy has helped me make improvements in a way that was comfortable for me. It has been a blast collaborating and brainstorming with her great ideas and how they can be applied in my business.
